Turbo Claw

My absolute favorite “guilty pleasure” show is Hell’s Kitchen (a.k.a. “This Tastes Like Shit, You Fucking Donkey!!!). There’s serious entertainment in watching Chef Ramsay come completely unglued over the most minor cooking infraction. It also helps that many of the attention-seeking contestants are so thin-skinned, and act as if they had no clue they’d be constantly screamed at.

That’s why I’m excited for Kitchen Nightmares. Instead of taking place in a TV studio, the chef goes to a different struggling restaurant each week, apparently to help them turn things around. Evidently, the way to do this includes red-faced shouting and childish name calling.

Count me in. The only thing better than Gordon Ramsay insulting and berating people is Gordon Ramsay insulting and berating more people.

UPDATE (09/20): As expected, swearing at people will inspire them to turn their failing restaurant around. Very little actual cooking, but still, entertaining all the way around. A solid 8/10 show that makes the weekly rotation easily.
