Last weekend, I was proud to stand up in my good friends Josh and Lauren’s wedding. He gave a handful of us the address to post to his Tumblr so we could liveblog the ceremony and reception from our phones for friends and family that weren’t able to make it. Check his blog for the results (Specifically, the posts on June 17-18, ought-9). I also posted all of those pics and more to Flickr.
The ceremony at the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Detroit, though kind of long and Catholic-y, was beautiful, and mercifully, I didn’t screw anything up. All 22(!) of us in the wedding party piled into a limo/bus and headed to Belle Isle for the reception at the Detroit Yacht Club, stopping on the way to let Josh jump in the fountain.
The reception was a total blast. I don’t remember ever having so much fun, or dancing so ridiculously at a wedding. PYT? Shit, I’ve spent the last three weeks being sick of Michael Jackson. Whatever. It was a great night and Beth and I had a great time with some good friends.
Congratulations, you two. Thanks for letting us be part of your day.

This is a great wrap up, thanks Dan! That wedding was fantastic! The blog looks great, lots of posts and good memories captured there. There’s also a few floating around on youtube. Thanks to everyone for helping make that night so great and for helping fill out the live blogging of it.
